Within the framework of his participation in Ministerial Week of the 70th UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will participate today, Wednesday, 30 September, in the UN Security Council Debate, on the ministerial level, on “Maintenance of International Peace and Security: Settlement of Conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa and Countering Terrorist Threats in the Region,” which will be chaired by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Mr. Kotzias will then have a bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of Argentina, Héctor Marcos Timerman, and will attend the working luncheon of South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) Foreign Ministers.
Later in the day, Mr. Kotzias will participate with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, and he will then attend the working dinner of Foreign Ministers of the countries of the European Union and NATO.
