Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will be in Brussels on 1 and 2 November 2015 to participate in the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of NATO member states.
The agenda for the Ministerial includes the security situation in Afghanistan, the Alliance’s adaptation to the challenges from the South, examination of the progress that has been made with regard to Building Defensive Capabilities and NATO’s Strategy for countering the Hybrid Threat. During the Foreign Ministers’ working dinner, there will be a discussion of Russia and its foreign and defence policy.
On the second day of the Ministerial, Mr. Kotzias will participate in the North Atlantic Council’s meeting with Montenegro and, subsequently, in the NATO-Ukraine Commission meeting, which will focus on security in eastern Ukraine and the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
