Foreign Minister Stavros Lambrinidis sent a message today to his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov regarding the news of the sinking of a cruise ship in the Volga river, which resulted in dozens of passengers losing their lives.
In the message, Mr. Lambrinidis expressed the deep sorrow felt by the Greek people and himself at the tragic news, and sent his condolences to the government of the Russian Federation, the Russian people and the families of the victims.
