The Foreign Ministry’s Secretary General, Ambassador A. Mitsialis, is in Rome today, Monday, 26 May, to participate in the informal meeting of Foreign Ministry Secretary Generals of the EU member states.
This meeting is traditionally hosted by the country that is to hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the coming semester, and is an opportunity for the heads of the staff leadership of the Foreign Ministries of the EU member states to exchange views on current issues, as well as on a number of issues concerning the functioning of their ministries and cooperation with the EU’s European External Action Service.
