Foreign Ministry spokesman Gregory Delavekouras made the following statement on a Turkish Foreign Ministry announcement regarding the signing of an “agreement” on the delimitation of the continental shelf between Turkey and occupied Cyprus:
“This action on the part of Turkey contravenes international law and the resolutions of the UN Security Council. The “agreement” in question is invalid and void.”
