Foreign Ministry spokesperson Konstantinos Koutras stated the following in response to a journalist’s question regarding a tweet posted today by MP Adonis Georgiadis, who, referring to a maliciously misleading article in today’s Kathimerini, concluded that Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias recognized the property rights of Chams:
“A simple reading of the Foreign Minister’s statements, together with a basic knowledge of the distinction between the legal property rights of Albanians in Greece, as opposed to the collaborators of fascism and Nazism convicted of war crimes, would protect Mr. Georgiadis from this lapse.
There is no room in foreign policy for exploitation on party lines.”
