The Hellenic Diplomatic Academy (HDA), in cooperation with the Diplomatic and Consular Academy of France, organized a three-day training programme for ten young French diplomats and for 30th Promotion of Candidate Embassy Attachés, following the signing of the “Roadmap for Strengthening Cooperation between Greece and France in the Field of Diplomatic and Consular Training.”
As part of the programme, they visited the LNG Terminal in Revythousa, where DESFA officials provided information on Greek energy infrastructure, interconnectivity with the Southern Gas Corridor, and Greece’s enhanced role in shaping European energy security.
This was followed by a guided tour of the Acropolis Museum, after which the two Diplomatic Academies traveled to Delphi, where they attended the proceedings of the 11th Delphi Economic Forum.
The programme was concluded at the Roman Agora in Athens, where the HDA candidate Embassy Attachés and the French delegation attended the discussion between Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and French President Emmanuel Macron, as part of an event organized by the newspaper “Kathimerini.”
The two delegations were accompanied by the Directors of the Academies, Ambassador Michalis Diamessis and Mr. Didier Le Bret, as well as the Directors of Studies, Ambassador Michael Angelopoulos, and Mr. Keyvan Sayar.
