A Memorandum of Cooperation between the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy (HDA) and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), aimed at promoting and strengthening their cooperation in the educational and research fields, was signed on Tuesday, 15 September, by the Director of the HDA, Ambassador Michael Diamessis, and the Director General of ELIAMEP, Ms Elena Lazarou.
This new collaboration is a continuation of the HDA’s systematic efforts to strengthen synergies with academic and research institutions, thereby contributing to the enhancement of both the initial professional training of candidate Embassy Attachés and the continuing professional training of the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Under this Memorandum, the parties will, inter alia, facilitate the participation of HDA candidate Attachés in events, meetings, discussions and the ELIAMEP Summer Academy; organize lectures, seminars, events and other activities tailored to the needs of the HDA; develop joint educational programmes; and implement joint research and academic initiatives.
