Today, Wednesday, September 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis will attend the address of the President of the Republic of Cyprus to the United Nations General Assembly.
Subsequently, Mr. Gerapetritis will accompany the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyria-kos Mitsotakis, to his meeting with the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Minister will later accompany the Prime Minister to a meeting with representa-tives of the Greek Diaspora in the United States.
He will then hold a bilateral meeting with the Secretary General of the Gulf Coop-eration Council (GCC).
The Minister will also attend a gathering hosted by the UAE Foreign Minister and then attend a dinner hosted by the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Lastly, in the context of promoting Greece's candidacy for a non-permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council for the 2025-2026 term, and with a view to enhancing Greece's bilateral relations, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will hold meet-ings with his counterparts from Serbia, Panama, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar and Armenia.
