Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, will participate tomorrow, Thursday, July 20, 2023 in the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) of the European Union (EU) to be held in Brussels.
Prior to the opening of the Council's proceedings, EU Foreign Ministers will have a working breakfast with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk.
At the Council, EU Foreign Ministers will discuss the foreign policy dimension of economic security issues and exchange views on the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
During the Foreign Ministers' working lunch, there will be a discussion on Türkiye and EU-Turkish relations.
The Foreign Ministers will then hold an exchange of views via videoconference with the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs’ participation in the FAC will be preceded by a bilateral meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization headquarters.
