Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis will travel to Brussels tomorrow, Tuesday, July 18, 2023, to participate in the Summit of the European Union and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (EU-CELAC Summit). In the context of the Summit, the Minister is expected to hold meetings with his counterparts from Colombia, Álvaro Leyva Durán, and Peru, Ana Cecilia Gervasi Díaz.
During his stay in Brussels, the Minister will also hold separate meetings with the Chairman of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, David James McAllister, and the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi.
On Wednesday, July 19, the Minister will have a meeting with the Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman and will participate in the EU-Bosnia and Herzegovina Stabilisation and Association Council to be co-chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, and the Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković.
On Thursday, July 20, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC).
