Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis will visit New York on 23-25 February 2025.
In the context of Greece’s tenure as a member of the UN Security Council for 2025-2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will participate on Monday, February 24, in a session of the UN General Assembly at 10:00 a.m., and in a meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine, at 3:00 p.m..
At 6:30 p.m., the Minister of Foreign Affairs will formally announce the commencement of Greece's tenure in the UN Security Council during a reception held at the United Nations.
On Tuesday, February 25, Mr. Gerapetritis will participate, at 10:00 a.m., in a meeting of the UN Security Council on the Middle East.
At 12:30 p.m., the Minister of Foreign Affairs will meet with UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres.
During his visit to New York, Mr. Gerapetritis will meet with representatives of the Greek diaspora.
