Tomorrow, Monday, 21 September, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to Brussels to participate in the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs are expected to discuss current affairs, including Turkey, in view of the upcoming European Council, as well as the situation in Lebanon, China and Russia.
The talks of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs will also focus on recent developments in Libya and Belarus, as well as EU-African Union relations, while the future partnership with the Southern Neighbourhood will be discussed over a working lunch.
On the margins of the Council, the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs will be meeting with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues, M. Lajčák. The Council meeting will be preceded by an informal breakfast to be held by the HR/VP, J. Borrell, and attended by the leader of the Belarusian Opposition.
