Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will host in Athens tomorrow, Thursday, March 3, 2022, his counterpart from the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavský.
The two Foreign Ministers will hold a private meeting at approximately 12:00, which will be followed by expanded talks.
Joint statements to the press are expected to take place at approximately 13:20.
Talks between the two ministers are expected to focus on bilateral relations and the situation in Ukraine following Russia's attack against this country. In addition, cooperation between Greece and the Czech Republic within the European Union (EU) and NATO is expected to be discussed, as well.
The visit of the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs takes also place in view of the assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the EU by the Czech Republic for the second semester of 2022 (July-December).
