On Thursday, 2 April, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will participate via videoconference, from Athens, in the Meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
The Meeting will focus on the Organization’s role in dealing with the Covid-19 Pandemic. Also to be discussed by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs is the strengthening of NATO’s presence in the Aegean in order to deal with irregular migration, and developments in Syria, Afghanistan, the Middle East and North Africa. They will also consider the situation in Georgia and Ukraine and measures that might be adopted to support these countries. Finally, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs are expected to adopt the Reflection Process mandate on the future of the Alliance.
