Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to Italy on Tuesday, 4 February, to meet with his Italian counterpart, Luigi Di Maio.
The talks will cover bilateral relations and international and regional issues. Emphasis will be put on current developments in Libya, the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, and energy issues.
On Wednesday, 5 February, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will travel to Malta, where he will be received by President George Vella and meet with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Evarist Bartolo. The talks will focus on bilateral relations, the migration/refugee issue and recent regional developments.
