Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to visit Montenegro and Croatia (Podgorica, Zagreb, 29 January 2020)

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to Podgorica and, subsequently, Zagreb tomorrow, Wednesday, 29 January, to meet with the political and state leadership of Montenegro and the Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs.

During his visit to Montenegro, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will be received by the country’s President, M. Dukanovic, and Prime Minister, D. Markovic. He will then meet with his counterpart, S. Darmanovic, and with the President of Parliament, I. Brajovic.

During his visit to Croatia, which holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union this semester, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will meet with the Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, G. Radman.

Talks will focus on bilateral cooperation and European and regional issues, with emphasis on the European perspective of the Western Balkans and the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean.
