Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to visit the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi, 16-18 November 2019)

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to the United Arab Emirates on Saturday, 16 November, to participate in the two-day proceedings of the Sir Bani Yas Forum.

While in Abu Dhabi, the Minister will also meet with his counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with whom he will discuss issues of shared bilateral and regional interest, as well as with Minister of State Reem Al Hashimy. On the afternoon of the same day, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will participate in the first Greece-Cyprus-UAE trilateral meeting.

On the following day, Sunday, 17 November, Mr. Dendias will meet with the Executive Director of the Hedaya International Centre of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism, Ahmed al Qassimi, and on Monday, 18 November, he will meet with officials of the country’s economy to promote bilateral economic relations.

Upon completion of his visit to the UAE, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will visit Kuwait, where he will meet with the country’s political leadership to promote bilateral political and economic relations.
