The legal status of the Aegean and the islands is clearly determined by international treaties and there is no room for doubt.
Constant repetition of arbitrary claims or interpretations of the International Law of the Sea in no way changes the unsubstantiated or illegal nature of these claims and interpretations.
Greece has chosen the path of international legality.
We hope to be followed on this path by Turkey.
