From the very first moment, the Governments of Greece and Croatia have been in contact in order to address the situation that has arisen following the tragic murder of the Greek football fan.
Greece abides by the Rule of Law. The independent Greek judiciary will judge the case impartially and objectively, respecting the fundamental rights of all those remanded into custody. In addition, the Greek Authorities always ensure adherence to the Law and protect the integrity of those in custody.
Under the current circumstances, any statements that distort reality are not helpful.
