From the very outset, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been closely monitoring tour operator Thomas Cook’s cessation of operations and, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and the Diplomatic and Consular Missions of countries represented in Greece, has taken measures to optimise the handling of any problems that may arise.
It appears from reports received from Greece’s Diplomatic and Consular Missions abroad that thus far there are no Greek customers of Thomas Cook who are abroad and have trouble returning to Greece.
