The second meeting of the International Group of Experts on commercial names, trademarks and brand names, which was created under the terms of the Prespa Agreement, convened in Athens today, Friday, 20 December 2019. The first meeting was held in Skopje, on 22 June.
The Group consists of experts from Greece and North Macedonia, and on an ad hoc basis, whenever deemed advisable, assistance will be requested from the European Union Intellectual Property Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization.
The International Group of Experts is tasked with assisting the institutionalized dialogue between the two countries’ business communities, which is aimed at finding mutually acceptable solutions to these issues.
