Digital Request Management Service

The Digital Request Management Service is an on-line service developed in order to facilitate citizens’ interactions with the Consular Authorities of their place of residence. The operation of the new Digital Service has already been launched and is expected to gradually be offered by all Consular Authorities.

Citizens can access the service via the e-proxeneio.mfa.gr entry point or through the websites of Consular Authorities.

The Digital Service includes:
• digital submission of requests
• digital submission of required documentation
• digital review of requests by the Consular Authority staff
• electronic payment of consular service fees
• creation and digital delivery of requested documents to citizens
• booking an in-person appointment at the Consular Authority for services that cannot be offered electronically.

Citizens will be able to access the Digital Service either by using their taxisnet username and password or by obtaining One Time Passwords (OTP) on their e-mail. Alternatively, citizens will be able to use the Digital Service by means of passwords obtained after a one-time authentication procedure by the Consular Authority during an in-person visit.

The Digital Request Management Service is part of the broader "Consular Services Process Transformation" project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This project aims at transforming and digitizing Consular Service procedures in order to enhance their efficiency by substantially reducing the number of necessary in-person appointments.
