Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis departσ for Brussels on Monday, 27 January 2020, to attend Tuesday’s meeting of the EU General Affairs Council.
On Wednesday, 29 January, he will meet with the European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Olivér Várhely.
He will then depart for Berlin, where, on Thursday, 30 January, he will have successive meetings with his counterpart Michael Roth and the Vice-Chair and member of the Committee of European Affairs in the German Bundestag, Markus Töns.
On Friday, 31 January, he will participate in the 2nd high-level meeting of the French-German initiative for controlling small arms and light weapons in the Western Balkans.
On Saturday, 1 February 2020, he will be in Lisbon to represent the Prime Minister at the ‘Friends of Cohesion’ Summit Meeting.
