Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Sia Anagnostopoulou will travel today, 2 May, to Paris, following an invitation by the French Minister for European Affairs, Amélie de Montchalin, to attend the meeting of the European Affairs Ministers of EU Member States, to be held tomorrow, on the creation of a European mechanism for the protection of the cultural monuments of Europe.
The Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs will also attend one-on-one talks with the French Minister for European Affairs. The agenda includes the impending European elections, as well as specific issues of European interest, such as Brexit, the European perspective of the Western Balkans, immigration and the Multiannual Financial Framework of the EU.
