The Joint Interministerial Committee for Economic Cooperation between Greece and the Republic of Korea will meet in Athens, on Thursday, December 14, 2023, under the Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Costas Fragogiannis and his counterpart Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Korea Kang Jae-kwon.
This is the 4th meeting of the Committee, which serves as an opportunity to confirm the excellent status of bilateral relations and to further strengthen economic cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The agenda of the meeting includes:
1. Science and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
2. Shipping, shipbuilding and infrastructure
3. Energy, environmental protection and Climate
4. Agriculture
5. Culture and social policy
6. Tourism and air transport
During the 4th Joint Interministerial Economic Committee, Enterprise Greece and the corresponding Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of strengthening cooperation in investment activities, creating networking opportunities and stimulating cooperation between the business communities of two countries.
