6th Session of the Greece-Ukraine Joint Interministerial Working Group on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation (Athens, 15.02.2024)

The Greece-Ukraine Joint Interministerial Working Group for Economic, Industrial, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation will convene tomorrow, Thursday, February 15, 2024 in Athens, headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy Kostas Fragogiannis and the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Oleh Nemchinov.


It is 6th session of the Working Group and it is being held on the same day as the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine, jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Investment Bank (EIB).

Items on the agenda of the Working Group include bilateral economic and trade cooperation, investment, cooperation in the fields of energy, transport and grain corridors, environment, health.

The Session will be attended by high-ranking officials from the Ministries of Education, Health, Infrastructure and Transport, Environment and Energy, Development, Rural Development and Food, Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, as well as representatives from Enterprise Greece and the Hellenic Space Center, and the President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sofia Kounenaki-Efraimoglou.

Upon conclusion of the Working Group’s works, a relevant Protocol will be signed, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding between Enterprise Greece and the corresponding Ukrainian investment and trade promotion agency, Ukraineinvest.
