Upon instructions from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Greece in Cairo and the Consulate General in Jerusalem, ensured yesterday the evacuation of sixteen Greek citizens and their family members from Gaza, under extremely adverse conditions.
Following the arrangements made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, eleven of them arrived today in Athens from Cairo.
Our diplomatic authorities in the region remain fully prepared to provide any possible consular assistance to Greek citizens.
