The Minister referred to the five-point plan for addressing the crisis, which he presented at the EU-Gulf Cooperation Council Ministerial Meeting. His Palestinian counterpart endorsed it, emphasizing the need to establish humanitarian corridors and protect civilians.
The two Foreign Ministers discussed the necessity to prevent the regional escalation of the crisis and agreed to maintain open communication channels regarding developments in the Middle East.
