The behavior of the Israeli Minister of National Security, which was directed against the citizens who participated in the “Global Sumud Flotilla”, is unacceptable and utterly condemnable.
Upon instructions from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, a protest démarche was submitted regarding the incident.
We demand universal respect for International Humanitarian Law and human rights, and we call on the Israeli authorities to proceed swiftly with all necessary procedures and to immediately release the Greek citizens.
