On Holy Saturday, May 4, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Giorgos Kotsiras will travel to Jerusalem to attend the Holy Fire Ceremony at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The Deputy Minister will receive the Holy Fire from His Beatitude the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III, and have a meeting with him.
The Holy Fire is expected to arrive at Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" in the evening of the same day, at approximately 19:30. Subsequently, it will be distributed throughout Greek territory.
