Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Kotsiras will travel to Istanbul on the occasion of the beginning of the Ecclesiastical New Year.
On Sunday, September 1, he will attend the Patriarchal and Poly-Hierarchical Divine Liturgy to be held at the Patriarchal Church in Fener and on the eve, he will attend the Great Vespers at the Holy Cathedral of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary of Stavrodromi.
During his stay in Istanbul, the Deputy Minister will be received by His All Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. He will also meet with representatives from the Association for the Support of Greek Community Foundations, as well as with representatives of educational bodies.
