Foreign Ministry spokesman Gregory Delavekouras made the following statement in reply to a journalist’s question regarding the burning of a car – in the early hours of 28 January – belonging to a member of Albania’s consular mission in Thessaloniki:
“The conditions under which the specific incident took place are being investigated by the Greek police. Whatever the case, actions such as this are unequivocally condemned and are inconsistent with our country’s tradition of hospitality.”
