Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, held a meeting today, Thursday 27 August, with the candidate UN Secretary-General, María Fernanda Espinosa.
The discussions focused on the United Nations reform efforts, in the context of Greece’s term as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the period 2025-2026, and in view of the upcoming Greek Presidency of the Security Council.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Greece’s steadfast commitment to multilateralism and to International Law.
