Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis will meet today, Wednesday, June 5, at 11:15 p.m. (EET), with UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres. A statement by Mr. Gerapetritis to journalists will follow at approximately 11:45 p.m. (EET).
Subsequently, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will attend a joint High-Level Event at the UN Headquarters with the Foreign Ministers of the co-candidates, Denmark, Pakistan, Panama, and Somalia.
On Thursday, June 6, at 5:00 p.m. (EET), Mr. Gerapetritis will attend the elections of the five non-permanent members of the Security Council for the 2025-2026 term, which will be held in the UN General Assembly Hall.
Upon conclusion of the voting and the announcement of the results, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will deliver a statement to Greek and foreign correspondents.
