Beginning his contacts in New York in the framework of the 80th United Nations General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, will attend today, Monday, September 22, the High-Level Meeting to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations.
He will also participate in the International Conference on the Two-State Solution, co-organized by France and Saudi Arabia.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs will address the emergency session of the Security Council regarding the violations of Estonian airspace by Russia.
Under Greece’s Presidency for 2025, Mr. Gerapetritis will chair the Ministerial Meeting of the Forum of Ancient Civilizations.
In the framework of the General Assembly session, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will hold a bilateral meeting with the President of the 80th General Assembly, Annalena Baerbock.
Furthermore, Mr. Gerapetritis will hold separate bilateral meetings with the Vice President of South Sudan, as well as with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Eritrea, Georgia, Guatemala, Iraq and Kenya.
