Germany is the honored country at the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair. This demonstrates our excellent bilateral relations with the Federal Republic of Germany, but more importantly, it reflects the conviction that we share common principles, particularly those related to compliance with International Law, the development of the green economy, and the emphasis on new technologies.
We have excellent cooperation with Germany. I had the opportunity to reaffirm this during my meeting with Vice Chancellor Habeck. We discussed major aspects of our bilateral relations concerning energy, economy, trade, and tourism. There is significant potential for further development of these relations.
Greece will remain a pillar of security and stability, a pillar that encourages investment, growth, and the country's diplomatic capital. In this we are in line with Europe and the European Union, for a Europe of the people, a Europe of prosperity.
