Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, will travel today, Tuesday, 1 September, to Wicklow, Ireland, where he will participate in the Informal Meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers of member states of the European Union, “Gymnich”.
The main topics of discussion will be developments in the wider Middle East, the war in Ukraine, and ways to enhance the effectiveness of the EU's external action.
The Irish Presidency has invited the Foreign Affairs Ministers of the United Kingdom, Ed Miliband; Canada, Anita Anand; Iceland, Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir; Norway, Espen Barth Eide; Switzerland, Ignazio Cassis; and Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha.
