The Ministry of Foreign Affairs participates in the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair, which will take place from September 7-15, 2024, where Germany will be the honored country.
In this context, and aiming to highlight the role of the Diaspora in economic development, the event titled “Entrepreneurship and the Greek Diaspora: the example of Greek-German businesses and potential synergies” will be held at the booth of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Saturday, September 7th.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Kotsiras, will address the event, emphasizing the strong dynamics of relations with the Greek Diaspora, the possibilities of transferring expertise and collaboration, as well as enhancing the image of our country abroad.
The panel will feature Ms. Maira Myrogianni, Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Marinos Giannopoulos, CEO of Enterprise Greece, Mr. Theodoros Deligiannakis, member of the Board of Directors of the German-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Phaedon Kotzampopoulos, President of the German-Hellenic Business Association (DHW). The event will be moderated by Mrs. Sofia Papadopoulou, editor-in-chief of the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (AMNA) in Thessaloniki.
