The Foreign Ministry’s Secretary General for International Economic Relations and Development Cooperation, Mr. Konstantinos Papadopoulos, will participate as a guest in the 2011 Euromoney Central and Eastern European Forum, which is being held in Vienna on 18 and 19 January.
The individual panels and workshops at the Conference cover a wide range of issues concerning the current economic state of affairs in Central and Eastern Europe and in the eurozone. Speakers include high-ranking officials of governments and central banks, such as State Secretary at the Austrian Ministry of Finance Reignhold Lopatka, Secretary of State at the Romanian Ministry of Finance Bogdan Dragoi, Slovakian Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Ivan Miklos, Turkish Central Bank Governor Durmus Yilmaz, and high-ranking executives from international financial organizations (IMF, World Bank, EBRD, EIG), private banks, research institutes, etc.
Mr. Papadopoulos will speak within the framework of the Workshop on “Growth in Times of Fiscal Austerity”.
